PCM-02 IED Robotic Manipulator provides an IED operator a stand of for 4 meters when already protected by an EOD suit. The claw’s open and close is controlled through visual feed back as well as through a LCD screen. Situation of a safety distance of 3 meter or more has significant chances for an EOD operator’s survivability with EOD Suits having overpressure suppression.
Apart from moving suspect objects the manipulator can be used to position disruptors, x-ray equipment and a whole host of other EOD equipment.
