PKM-02 EOD/ IED Manipulator provides an IED operator a stand of 3 meters when already protected by an EOD suit. This significantly increasing operator survivability should a device detonate. It is comprised of the mechanical claw, mechanical arm, counterweight, battery box and controller. It can control the claw’s open and close. The claw’s open and close is controlled through visual feedback as well as through a LCD screen. Apart from moving suspect objects, the manipulator can be used to position disruptors, x-ray equipment and other EOD equipment.
