Limpet Mine Disposal Disruptor

CLMS-26 Limpet Mine Disposal Equipment (LMDE) has been designed to disable thin-cased sea-mines that have been attached to the hull of a ship or underwater structure. The equipment consists of a disruptor system that is mounted on a stand using magnets and is diver-deployable. Buoyancy blocks are fitted to the stand to aid carrying and placement. On firing the disruptor a high-velocity slug of water hits the target penetrating the thin skin mine to disrupt the explosive filling and detonation mechanism,
