BXT-140 and BXT-90 are portable imaging systems that combine backscatter and transmission technologies, offering real-time, rapid, non-destructive visual inspections. It simplifies and enhances the efficiency of security tasks like checkpoint and EOD search and even to find the even the hidden eavesdropping devices.

It can detect metallic and non-metallic weapons, drugs, and organic threats by giving operator quick clues to the threat. You can use the backscatter for single sided images only and get acceptable results where you don’t remain limited to ground objects and also don’t struggle with low-density materials like explosives and drugs.

X-ray Backscatter function

140 KeV

Backscatter technology involves using low-energy X-rays to irradiate a specific point on the object being tested. A detector then collects the scattered rays’ information from that point. The X-ray generator scans the entire object by directing the rays through a point-scanning system, ultimately producing a complete image of the object.

These backscatters have an integrated fuselage design which features an 8-inch detachable tablet for image display and control. This allows for both single-operator and remote operation. Two sizes are offered.

Flat panel detector
